Job Description
What you can expect
Join us as an Export/Import Compliance Officer and help shape our global trade integrity. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure that our international business runs smoothly and fully complies with global trade laws and sanctions regulations — keeping our operations secure and future-ready.
Supervise the screener team conducting daily screenings of goods, shipments, and business partners against international sanction lists (e.g. UN, EU, UK, US-OFAC/BIS, etc.) and ensure accuracy and compliance.
Assess and resolve red-flagged transactions, investigate potential hits, and perform enhanced due diligence on high-risk countries and end-users.
Support the development and implementation of global trade compliance policies, audits, and internal controls across business functions.
Promote compliance culture by participating in and supporting training sessions and awareness initiatives on export/import regulations.
Manage and optimize screening tools and compliance databases, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date documentation.
What you bring
Hold a degree in International Business, Trade Compliance, Law, or a related field; a certification in Export Compliance is a plus.
Bring at least two years of experience in international trade, export/import compliance, or sanctions, with solid knowledge of EU, US, and CH export control regulations.
Proficient in denied party screening tools, compliance systems, and Microsoft Excel.
Combine strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear communication skills in both English and German.
Act with integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset while solving problems in a dynamic, regulated environment.
