What you can expect
What you’ll be doing
CRM Management & Reporting
- Act as the CRM Super User, ensuring the system is always updated.
- Control data integrity and quality within CRM.
- Train users and manage account-linked users.
- Provide CRM reports and ensure KPI compliance.
- Ensure all sales activities (meetings, contact reports, opportunities, and leads) are properly recorded in CRM.
Sales Controlling
- Lead the Sales Support team in monitoring quotation performance and identifying potential leads/opportunities.
- Monitoring of sales activities (contact reports, opportunities and pipeline report)
- Oversee data management and KPI tracking for both national and international sales campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze Lost Accounts to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
- Manage and generate Charge Code Reports for accurate tracking of sales performance and cost allocation.
Lead Generation
- Research and structure information on potential customers through various media sources.
- Identify, establish, and manage multi-tiered relationships across the Rhenus network to drive long-term business partnerships.
Marketing
- Manage sales tools, including creating professional presentations and sales campaign flyers.
- Maintain and update standard commercial marketing materials and information.
- Liaise with the regional marketing team for market intelligence updates and social media postings.
- Support the annual customer survey process.
Trade Lane Development Support
- Support trade lane development initiatives
- Market research, lead generation, performance review / monitoring
- Other tasks assigned by Head of Sales, Managing Directors and Regional Director.
What you bring
What skills & experience you’ll bring to us
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, particularly in air and ocean logistics.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Sales Management (or similar)
- Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) – Proficient in creating professional presentations, documents, and organizing data.
- Canva/Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop – Experience with design tools for marketing materials (preferred)
- CRM Software Knowledge – Understanding of sales tracking and reporting systems.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to represent and transfer complex topic areas and correlations to a figured based and systematic level.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrates a clear understanding of expected outcomes, sets personal goals, and strives to achieve them at all times.
- Client-Focused: Skilled at identifying and anticipating customer needs and expectations, ensuring positive customer experience and satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: Capable of analyzing information, editing and evaluating outcomes, and providing recommendations of action to solve issues.
- Language: Fluency in both written and spoken English.
