What you can expect

As an International Sales Representative – Customs Services (m/f/d), you can expect an exciting role where you can apply your expertise in customs and leverage your skills in sales and business development.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding into new markets and developing new customs services or solutions.

  • Establish and nurture relationships with international key clients, providing exceptional support and fostering long-term partnerships.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for customs-related services, including contract and price negotiations with key customers.

  • Identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities for customs-related services to maximize revenue potential.

  • Analyze potential business risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customs regulations, policies, and procedures, while implementing competitive pricing strategies to maintain a market edge.

  • Collaborate with Country/Sales Managers and other departments to coordinate sales efforts effectively.

What you bring

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, ideally within the freight forwarding, logistics, or customs sector.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and identify trends and customer needs in the customs industry.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong client relationships, drive successful contract negotiations, and stay motivated even in challenging situations.

  • In-depth understanding of customs regulations, policies, and procedures to provide expert guidance to clients.

  • A self-driven and well-organized approach, allowing you to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and business development.

  • Passion for innovation and a drive to explore new opportunities in a dynamic industry.
