Job Description
What you can expect
For Rhenus Warehousing Solutions, we are looking for a Functional Application Administrator with knowledge of Business Central.
Are you a professional who excels at managing applications from a functional perspective but also has some technical knowledge? We are seeking a Functional Application Administrator who can optimize the financial and logistics processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Functional expertise is key, but technical skills will make you an even more valuable asset to our team. In short you will be responsible for:
Functional Management: You will be primarily responsible for the functional management of Business Central. This means analyzing the needs and requirements from the financial and logistics departments, translating them into concrete solutions, and implementing them.
Basic Technical Knowledge as a Plus: While the focus is on the functional aspect, having a basic understanding of technical matters (such as reading code or understanding error messages) will assist you in solving complex problems and collaborating with developers and IT partners.
Process Optimization: You will play a key role in improving financial and logistical workflows. You will contribute to process innovations and guide improvement initiatives.
Logistics Insight: In addition to financial processes, you are familiar with logistics processes such as inventory management, purchasing, sales, and warehouse management. You understand the interdependencies and can translate them into solutions within the application.
Innovation and Digitization: You will contribute to the further digitalization of processes, such as automation, and guide key projects.
What we offer
At Rhenus Warehousing Solutions, you will become part of a sustainable and ambitious working environment where personal development is key. We foster an entrepreneurial working atmosphere where we encourage personal input and initiative. In addition, we offer:
In addition to a competitive salary, we offer attractive fringe benefits. We value your commitment and contribution and are happy to reward you for it.
A good pension scheme;
Flexible working hours and home working possibilities;
A personal flex budget that you can spend as you choose. Among other things, this can be used to buy leave days, personal development, company fitness or be paid out as an allowance;
Personal coaching and plenty of opportunities to grow (e.g. Rhenus Academy)
What you bring
HBO-level work and thinking, preferably in the fields of Business Administration, Finance, or IT.
At least 3 years of experience in functionally managing ERP systems, with a strong focus on Finance (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).
At least 1 year of experience with specifying, (having built), testing, and implementing interfaces.
Experience with financial and logistics processes and a good understanding of how these are interconnected.
Basic knowledge of IT systems, such as operating systems, databases, and networks.
Technical knowledge is a plus: for example, the ability to read code or understand table structures.
Understanding of integrations with other systems, such as Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Strong analytical and communication skills to translate complex needs and requirements into practical solutions.
Effective communication with different disciplines and levels, from operational staff to management.
Enthusiastic, driven, and able to work independently, with a proactive attitude.
Focused on innovation, digitization, and process optimization.
